There is assumption that people who experienced kidney failure comes from the elderly. In fact, the children and adolescents can also suffer from the disease. Complications of diabetes mellitus resulted in most patient experienced renal failure. That happens when a young adult patients aged up to go. Whereas, adolescents are usually caused by kidney infection.
Infection in the kidney filtration system is called glomerulonephritis. What often happens is an infection caused by streptococcal bacteria. These germs enter to body when the child has acute respiratory infections. If treatment is less of maximal, live streptococcal bacteria can attack the kidneys.
There are some signs of glomerulonephritis, including the humaturia, edema, hypertension, and decreased kidney function and also found that leakage of protein in the urine (microalbuminuria). Patients or families who most easily recognized are number of patient decreased urinary drastic and reddish urine-like water washing of meat used. Other common symptoms, the patient felt sick, bloated bodies and anemia.
If patient has experienced this, usually will be disturbed renal function. Whereas the kidney contribute to blood from a variety of body metabolism and poison the body unnecessary. Toxins and waste are removed as the amount of urine each day ranges from 1-2 liters. In addition to these functions, the kidneys maintain the levels of body fluids and electrolytes (ions), and regulate the production of red blood cells.
Because waste was digested completely by the kidneys, patient’s body will be swollen. If the patient’s condition worse, such as renal failure stage 5, there are only two therapies that can be done, that are dialysis patients and kidney transplant.
